It’s the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Duncans Mills Candle Company, where I had such fun reading tarot cards as part of the festivities last year. Come by Saturday, April 11 from 2-5 to join us, and be sure to wear pink! I’ll be reading cards on a first come, first served basis (by donation). I read from the heart and love to share joy and inspiration with everyone crossing my path; it is just what I’ve been called to do in this life. How timely is this “Celebration of Light!”
Stop by the DIY Fragrance Bar, catch some live music by the Bohoss Boogie Boys…and bring the kids for the Kids Candle Bar. Grab yourself a taste of Muscardini Cellars Rosato (Sophie’s Cellars), and check out the Charm Bar. Heres the website for Duncans Mills Candle Company.
And of course, as a poet and tarot muse, I’m going to encourage you with all my heart to check out Poet’s Corner Bookstore, that darling postage stamp of a bookstore I adore for books, beautiful greeting cards, blank journals, and more. I grew up on the Russian River, and shopped in Duncans Mills as far back as when we lived in Villa Grande in 6th grade…and now…there’s even a bookstore! What a blessing.

As a tarot muse, poet, and artist, I love to teach as well as give readings (something I’ve done for over 30 years now). You can learn more about my next tarot based course, staring on zoom Sunday, April 12 and offered by Antioch University Continuing Education, on-line, here: Tarot Journaling: The Hermit. My classes are supportive, small, beautifully nurturing spaces in which we show up, write, share, and make personal tarot card art. For a deeper understanding of how my tarot journaling classes are structured, enjoy this beautiful video of participants of our tarot ancestry series sharing a year’s worth of their personal tarot card art and writing: A Tarot Garden of Ancestry Verses (Heart’s Compass Tarot YouTube).
